What data we collect and why
Contact forms (WPForms). When you submit a form, we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), message content, and submission time. We use this information only to reply to inquiries, provide quotations, and deliver after-sales support.
Comments (if enabled). To prevent spam, we collect the data shown in the comment form, the visitor’s IP address, and browser user-agent string. If you use Gravatar, your email address may be hashed and sent to the Gravatar service to check if you are using it (Gravatar Privacy Policy: https://automattic.com/privacy/). After your comment is approved, your profile image will be publicly displayed next to your comment.
Media uploads. If you upload images, please avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS). Visitors to the website can download and extract location data from images.
Cookies.
- If you leave a comment on our site, you may opt in to saving your name, email address, and website in cookies for your convenience. These cookies last for about 1 year.
- If you log in (e.g., as a partner or with a back-end account), we set necessary cookies for authentication and display preferences. Login cookies generally last 2 days; display-preference cookies last about 1 year. If you select “Remember Me,” your login persists for 2 weeks. Logging out removes the login cookies.
- If you edit or publish an article, your browser may save a non-personal cookie that only records the post ID of the article you just edited. It expires after 1 day.
Embedded content. Articles on this site may include embedded content from third parties (e.g., videos, images, posts). External sites may collect your data, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content—particularly if you have an account with that external site and are logged in.
Abuse prevention & security. We may use automated spam-detection services (such as Akismet or WPForms’ built-in anti-spam), and CAPTCHA (Google reCAPTCHA or hCaptcha) to prevent abuse.
Analytics. We may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to analyze anonymized browsing behavior to improve our content and user experience.
Who we share your data with
Essential service providers. To deliver email notifications, hosting, redundancy, and analytics, we may share necessary data with email services (e.g., Google Workspace, Namecheap Private Email, SendGrid), cloud hosting, and analytics tools. We require these providers by contract to observe appropriate security and confidentiality obligations.
Password resets (if accounts are enabled). When you request a password reset, your IP address may be included in the reset email for security verification.
How long we retain your data
Comments. Comments and their metadata are retained indefinitely to recognize and approve follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.
User profiles (if accounts are enabled). We retain the information you provide in your user profile. All users can view, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Site administrators can also view and edit that information.
Contact forms. Generally retained until your request has been addressed, and for up to 24 months thereafter. Retention may be extended as required for legal, accounting, or after-sales support purposes.
Your rights
Under Taiwan’s Personal Data Protection Act and other applicable regulations, you have the following rights regarding your personal data: to inquire or request access, request copies, request supplementation or correction, request cessation of collection/processing/use, and request deletion.

Please note: Certain data that are required by law or contract (e.g., transaction records, tax or accounting data) may need to be retained for a statutory period even if you request deletion.
Cross-border data transfers
If our service providers’ servers are located overseas (e.g., Google, SendGrid), your data may be transferred to and stored in other countries. We will take reasonably practicable steps to ensure appropriate security and confidentiality safeguards are in place.
Children’s privacy
This website targets the general public and professional users and is not intended for children under 13. If you are a legal guardian and believe a child’s data has been provided or retained, please contact us immediately.
Changes to this policy
We may revise this policy from time to time due to regulatory updates or service adjustments and will display the “Last Updated” date on the page. Material changes will be highlighted in a prominent manner.
